Why am I writing?

The purpose of this website is an opportunity to share some of the things that God has revealed (and continues to reveal) to me through His Word and while in His presence, about who He is and about the joy found in Him.  I cannot promise that everything will always make perfect sense to me or that it will always be happy, as I have learned that God's plan definitely does not always follow my plan.  In fact, very often I have to change my way of thinking to even come close to aligning myself with what He has in store for me.  My hope is that my experiences and revelation can in some way encourage and support even just a few, realizing that even through conviction of the Holy Spirit, He is a Good Father and wants to give us the joy that overwhelms.  If God speaks to you through this website, or if I present a question to which He has answered for you, discussion is encouraged.  We are all children of the King, and we are called to lift each other up in accountability and strength to the one true God of Heaven.

About the Author

I am father, husband, friend, sinner and child of the Living God.  Like many, I grew up in the church without understanding what true relationship with Jesus Christ meant.  Although I spent much of my childhood in His house, I was nearly 16 years old before I ever truly encountered His presence.  I'm not perfect, and I never will be.  I am human, and like all other humans, I live a life of sin and repentance.  I have struggles every day, and I praise Jesus for grace and forgiveness.  I have had more second chances than I deserve, and I still struggle with faith, knowledge, relinquishing control and strongholds in my life, and Jesus continues to welcome me home with open arms each and every time.  Thank you, God, for sending Your Son, that I can overcome death and spend eternity knelt before Your throne.
